Mini-Charts are small charts that are placed into indicator windows below the main chart.  The candle modes are displayed in the image to the right.

Top is standard candles with a moving average.  Middle is Heiken Ashi candles and bottom is a special linear Heiken Ashi.  The linear HA uses a different formula to standard HA and is a good trend indicator. (Note: the HA Linear will be available soon)

The moving average on the candle charts is adjustable for type and period.

The charts also have an candle coutdown timer to keep track of when new candles are about to be formed on each timeframe.

mini-charts can display a different currency to the main chart window .... a very useful feature!

Oscillators can also be displayed (image right).  Top is multi-colored stochastics with adjustable setting for slope display.

Second is thv trix.  This also has a histogram mode to look like a MACD.

Third is a MACD.

Fourth is the Traders Dynamic Index.  Because TDI is not a pipware product, the mini chart does not have any code in it to calculate TDi.  Instead, it will call the TDI indicator if you have it in your indicators directory.  Please ensure the name of the indicator is 'Traders_Dynamic_Index.ex4'

The oscillator charts are fully configurable for color and settings eg stochastics and macd values.

There is an earlier  version of the pipware mini-charts that can be overlayed on to chart windows.  It makes use of a font file.  That version was only capable of showing candle charts with a basic simple moving average.  Note that the older version can't display oscillator indicators.

Mini Charts are small charts overlayed on the Metatrader MT4 main chart or indicator windows.  Settings for symbol, timeframe, postition, size etc.  You can choose candles or bars, and whether to display a moving average.

If you are like me, you like to view price action in multiple time frames e.g. Daily, 4 hour, 1 hour, 15 min etc. I wanted a way of dragging a currency symbol on to a window and have multiple time frame charts appear simultaneously in that window. This birthed the idea of “Mini Charts”.

We're now up to version 3.  Make sure to install the font file that's in the download as the mini charts will not work without it.  There are different methods to install fonts on XP, Vista and Windows 7.  Please search google to find how to install a font for your operating system.
